New Delhi: Schaeffler India Limited has recently announced the appointment of Aashish Bhatia as the President of Automotive Technologies, specifically overseeing the Automotive OE business. With a track record of over 25 years in product engineering, automotive electronics development, program management, and general management, Bhatia is expected to bring a wealth of experience to his new role.
His primary responsibilities will involve developing and executing strategies for the Automotive OE business, with a strong focus on driving growth and ensuring ongoing success, the company said.
Bhatia’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from Marathwada University, a master’s degree in design engineering from IIT Delhi, and a degree in executive general management from IIM Bangalore. He has obtained several certifications in Automotive Technology from prestigious Indian and global universities.
Before Schaeffler, Bhatia served as the President of Visteon India and held senior management positions at prominent organizations such as Inteva Products, Hella, Delphi, and GE.
Based at the corporate office in Baner, Bhatia will report directly to Harsha Kadam, the Managing Director & CEO of Schaeffler India, and will be an integral part of the Executive Leadership Team. It is expected that his appointment will invigorate growth and foster innovation in the automotive sector, enabling Schaeffler India to develop cutting-edge solutions that meet evolving customer demands.
