New Delhi: Tresa Motors has introduced India’s first eAxle, named DAX-1, along with an upgraded Model V0.1 electric truck platform, suitable for loads ranging from 18 tonne to 55 tonne.

DAX-1 integrates Tresa’s FLUX350 motor, motor controller, AMT gearbox, and differential into a single compact unit. Powered by Tresa’s FLUX350 platform motors, the DAX-1 operates within a wide power range of 150Kw to 350Kw, all while maintaining a lightweight profile under 25 kg.

Tresa Motors also revealed its latest battery packs, known as Meg50, boasting a 50Kwh capacity. These packs prioritize safety and performance, featuring a design that fully immerses them in dielectric liquid. This approach provides 360-degree cooling for the cells and acts as a fire retardant.

Tresa Trucks aim to enhance the driver experience with central seating, air conditioning, airbags, and the use of LIDAR and AI for safety.

Vinod K. Dasari, Chairman of Tresa Motors, emphasized the growth of EV adoption and the company’s focus on Indian design and manufacturing.

Rohan Shravan, founder and CEO of Tresa Motors, spoke about the company’s innovations and India’s role in global EV technology.
