Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Madurai Limited will operate 565 special buses before Diwali and 485 special buses after Diwali for the benefit of people travelling to and fro their native towns.

Madurai, Dindigul and Virudhunagar regional offices of TNSTC Madurai will operate 565 special buses between November 9 and 11 and 485 special buses between November 13 and 15 to destinations like Trichy, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, Tiruchendur, Cumbum, Kumily and Chennai from Madurai, Dindigul, Theni, Palani, Virudhunagar, Aruppukottai, Sivakasi, Rajapalayam bus terminals.

The corporation has deployed officers, engineers, superintendents, ticket examiners and the crew to operate these special buses safely during the Diwali rush.

TNSTC Madurai through SETC’s Open Ticket Request System enables booking tickets online to destinations like Kodaikanal, Kollam, Munnar, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Mettupalayam, Erode, Salem, Nagercoil, Tiruchendur, Neiveli, Thiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Chennai, Mannarkudi, Cuddalore, Nagore and other long destinations. Passengers can book their tickets on www.tnstc.in or on TNSTC mobile app.
