Vauxhall has unveiled the pricing details for the New Corsa Electric. The updated Corsa Electric is now open for orders with a starting price at £32,445. Customers can expect the first deliveries to arrive in Q4 2023.
The New Corsa Electric will be available in a choice of three trim levels – Design, GS and Ultimate.
New for Corsa Electric is Vauxhall’s next-generation 51kWh battery. This, combined with an upgraded electric motor now producing 115kW (156PS), results in the New Corsa Electric delivering more performance whilst achieving 246 miles (WLTP) between charges.
From 3rd August, buyers will be able to choose between two powertrain options on the Corsa Electric, with the existing 100kW (136PS) powertrain remaining available, which achieves up to 222 miles between charges (WLTP). For the first time, this powertrain option will be available in Design trim as well as GS.
All New Corsa Electric models come as standard with an 11kW on-board charger, allowing for a 0-100% charge to be completed in 5hrs and 15 minutes. The same full charge using a 7kW home wallbox is estimated to take 7hrs and 30 minutes. Supporting 100kW rapid charging, a typical 10%-80% charge will take just 30 minutes.
The Corsa Electric is available from launch with the next-generation 156PS powertrain in GS and Ultimate trims, while from 3rd August the existing 136PS powertrain will be offered in Design and GS.
Infotainment is provided by a 7-inch touchscreen on the Electric Design 136PS, while all other models receive the new 10-inch touchscreen. Safety is enhanced via a suite of driver assist technologies, including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with lane keep assist and speed sign recognition.
The Corsa Electric 156PS also features wireless phone charging, Vauxhall Connect and Connected Navigation, with the latter also available on petrol Ultimate models.
GS trim adds a rear-view parking camera, which features a new high-resolution, panoramic display on Electric 156PS models. The alloy wheels are upgraded from 16-inches to 17-inches, while inside there is a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Electric GS 156PS models also feature keyless entry and start.
Finally, Ultimate trim sees keyless entry and start, the headlights upgraded with Vauxhall’s IntelliLux LED Pixel Matrix light technology. Additional driver assist features include Blind Sport Alert and Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Positioning Assist. Comfort is enhanced with heated, massaging seats finished in Alcantara and a heated steering wheel. Keyless entry and start is available on both petrol and Electric variants.
