New Delhi: As part of its 75th anniversary festivities, Ashok Leyland, a prominent commercial vehicle manufacturer, launched the ‘Dream Drive‘ from Bengaluru. The trip, which began Sunday, is a journey through several towns and dealerships in India, culminating at the company’s manufacturing sites across the country. On five distinct routes, ten vehicles will travel the length and width of the country.
The journey will traverse through significant places across the country, beginning in Bengaluru and ending in Mumbai, Leh, Kolkata, and Dibrugarh. The Bengaluru-Ennore (Chennai) trip began Monday, and the other four ‘Dream Drives’ – Mumbai-Alwar, Leh-Pantnagar, Kolkata-Hosur, and Dibrugarh-Bhandara – will begin soon after. The campaign attempts to recognise the company’s long-standing ties with the country in many ways.
Along the way, Ashok Leyland will engage with its extensive network of dealerships, a direct connection with its valued customers and gather insights from the years of experience of the commercial vehicle ecosystem.
Dheeraj Hinduja, Executive Chairman, Ashok Leyland, said, “Today, as we embark on the ‘Dream Drive’ to mark the momentous 75th Year Anniversary Celebrations of Ashok Leyland, we reflect upon the journey that has run parallel to the development of our country. The ‘Dream Drive’ represents our renewed pledge to further shape the future of the CV Industry to support India’s economic development for years to come”.
Shenu Agarwal, MD and CEO, Ashok Leyland, said, “As we commemorate our 75th anniversary, we are grateful to all of our customers, employees, and partners who have been an integral part of our journey.
