The Kia EV9 range will span $97,000 to $121,000 when the three-grade range arrives in Australian dealerships next week, with the full-size three-row SUV now the cheapest seven-seat EV in the country.
Sure, there’s limited competition, but Kia has stuck to its promise of launching the LandCruiser- and Patrol-sized electric SUV at less than $100k, before on-road costs.

Two of the EV9’s three trim levels — the entry-level Air and flagship GT-Line – will be available immediately, with the mid-trim Earth to follow in a couple of months.

All models are equipped with an 800V architecture, with Kia promising a 10-to-80 percent charge in just 20 minutes, provided you are plugged into an appropriate DC fast charger.
